Cover illustration of a glowing world map with connected global cities, representing the top tech conferences and events for 2027

If you manage partnerships, channel programs, or ecosystem strategy, your 2027 travel calendar is about to look different. Several fixtures from our 2026 list of the 50 must-attend global tech events have rebranded, relocated, or folded into new flagship shows entirely — Collision is now Web Summit Vancouver, Oracle CloudWorld has become Oracle AI World, and CompTIA's ChannelCon runs under the GTIA banner for 2027. Demand for in-person connection keeps climbing regardless: CES 2026 drew 148,392 attendees, up 4% year over year, with international participation hitting an all-time high of 37.6% (CES).

That appetite for events tracks with what's happening on the revenue side. 67% of B2B partner ecosystem leaders expect indirect revenue to grow more than 30% above last year's levels (Forrester, via Continu), and PRM adoption among companies above $25M ARR reached 62% in 2026, up from 39% in 2023 (xamplify). Choosing the right rooms to be in — and having a partner relationship manager that turns those conversations into tracked, attributable pipeline — matters more than ever.

We grouped the 50 events below into six categories: partnership and channel ecosystem gatherings, major tech and innovation conferences, retail and ecommerce shows, SaaS and cloud events, regional tech hubs, and niche industry events. Every listing has been checked against official organizer pages as of September 2026 — where a 2027 date isn't published yet, we've flagged it as "Expected" so you can plan provisionally rather than get caught out. If you're building a channel partner program and want to know which of these rooms your partners should actually be in, this list is your starting point.

Wrap Up

Rebrands, relocations, and city swaps aren't just trivia — they're exactly the kind of thing that breaks manual partner tracking. If your team is still logging event handshakes in a spreadsheet, an acquisition or a renamed conference is enough to lose the thread on which relationship led where, and which deals actually closed because of it.

Journeybee's PRM syncs directly with your CRM, so partner-sourced pipeline gets credited automatically no matter which badge scan, intro, or conference conversation started it — whether that happened at Web Summit Vancouver, SXSW, or a regional channel event. You get a clear view of which events, and which partners, are actually driving revenue.

Ready to stop guessing which events are worth the travel budget? Book a demo of Journeybee and see how partner-sourced revenue attribution works in practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Several long-running shows have rebranded or restructured for 2027. Collision has been discontinued as a standalone Toronto event and folded into Web Summit Vancouver; Oracle CloudWorld is now Oracle AI World; CompTIA's ChannelCon runs under the new GTIA (Global Technology Industry Association) banner; Viva Technology has shortened its name to VivaTech; and the International Beauty Show (IBS) Las Vegas has merged with IECSC into the Be+Well Beauty & Wellness Show. If you're searching for any of these events by their old name, you may land on a redirect.

A good number of flagship events have official 2027 dates on sale or announced: SXSW (March 13-21), MWC Barcelona (March 1-4), Google Cloud Next (April 13-15), Adobe Summit (March 22-25), NRF's US Big Show (January 10-12), CommerceNext Growth Show (June 8-9), SaaStr AI Annual (May 11-12), SAP Sapphire (Orlando May 24-26, Barcelona June 1-3), and Web Summit Vancouver (May 25-28). Many second-tier and regional events, however, won't confirm dates until closer to the show.

Start by mapping events to your partner segments rather than trying to cover everything. VAR, MSP, and reseller-heavy programs get more value from Channel Partners Conference & Expo and ChannelCon (GTIA); SaaS and ISV ecosystems should prioritize SaaStr, SaaStock, or cloud-vendor events like Google Cloud Next; and ecommerce or retail partner programs are better served by NRF, Shoptalk, or CommerceNext. A workable rule of thumb is one flagship global event plus two to three regional or category events per year.

Most organizers announce next year's dates only six to nine months in advance, often at the close of the current edition. Where an official date wasn't published as of this writing, we've labeled it "Expected" based on the event's historical cadence, so you can plan provisionally and confirm details on the organizer's site closer to the date.

A partner relationship management (PRM) platform like Journeybee syncs directly with your CRM, so any deal that originated from a conference introduction, a partner conversation on an expo floor, or a co-marketing session gets tagged and tracked back to its source. That means you can see exactly which events are actually generating partner-sourced pipeline and revenue, instead of relying on anecdotal reports from your team after they get back from travel.
