Deal Registration

What is Deal Registration?

Deal registration is a formal process that allows a partner to "claim" a lead they are working on. By registering the deal with the vendor (usually through a PRM portal), the partner gets priority and protection for that specific opportunity. This is a key tool for preventing channel conflict. It ensures that two partners, or a partner and the vendor's direct sales team, aren't chasing the same customer. It gives partners the confidence to invest their time and resources in developing a lead, knowing their efforts will be recognized and rewarded.
